On Saturday Sep. 26 the Founders Day parade will return to Fullerton after a 22 year absence. The last appearance of the parade was in 1993; in 1994 the parade was canceled due to funding. The parade will travel south through downtown Fullerton from Berkeley ave. to Harbor Blvd.

The Founders Day parade will feature local high school bands. Past parades have included everything from elephant rides to mariachi bands.

It will end with a street fair in the Downtown Plaza. The street fair will consist of multiple food booths, vendors, and even a beer garden.

Downtown Fullerton will also host the Mercantile Flea Market the first Saturday of every month. The Mercantile Flea Market will be located on south Harbor Blvd. between Carpe Diem Experience and Heroes Bar and Grill.

With over 40 vendors the flea market will have shopping opportunities as well as live music, holiday workshops for kids, and food.
