New Student Orientation began Tuesday, Jan. 17, with check-in to make students aware and ready for their first day. The day ended with free dinner in the Commons.
Yesterday, the students registered for their classes and were taught how to use Canvas and their student email. They also met the deans of their chosen college. Students also joined a community service project at Pacific Drive Elementary, where they helped clean up the school with their Barnabas group leaders. The night ended with a Volleyball game and Immerse.
“I think it’s really nice this year that they are taking the new students to the sporting events and things like that,” said Amanda Matthews, Admissions Visit and Recruitment Coordinator. “I think that is a really cool thing that I have not seen before.”
