After falling to MidAmerica Nazarene University the men bounced back fast dominating Bethesda 86-55.
They went on to sweep the 2017 Hope Classic crushing Warner Pacific College on day one 84-61. On day two La Sierra University failed to put up a fight as the Royals killed the Eagles 108-73.
“The starters did a really good job of paying attention to the game plan and being prepared, they got us off to the start we needed.” Head Coach Bill Czech said following the victory against La Sierra University. “When we subbed in Kenny, Daniel, and Dillon they just took it to another level so it was exactly what we wanted. The other team they had some guys that could make some plays, they were a little bit scrappy but out guys played really well the last couple of nights.”
With an abundance of new players Czech continues to work on displaying the strengths of the new team through coordinating the rotation of the players. The team continues to move through the growing process with new standouts Forward Kenny Barnes, and Guard Dillon Reise coming in clutch on the court.
