The Royals began to regain momentum, destroying San Diego Christian in double overtime 91-89, and William Jessup University 77-75.
“Tonight was a really tough battle from both teams, it just came down to those close plays loose balls, and those 50/50 balls,” Andrew Bournes said, following the close match against William Jessup University, “Luckily we came out on top this time but we have to clean some things up to finish out the rest of the conference.”
The moment was short lived as they fell to Menlo College 70-78. Coming off the rough loss the men flipped things around pulling in a triple digit score against Ottawa University – Arizona 106-78, although this was not a GSAC qualifying match.
The men are currently overall 22-4 with a GSAC score of 8-3. The men will face Arizona Christian for the second time this season this Saturday at 2 p.m. Their next home game will be against The Masters Thursday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
