Grace and peace to you!
Your friends at First Christian Church, Fullerton want you to know that you are loved just the way you are and that nothing can separate you from God’s love – especially not hatred and homophobia. There are places of true welcome right here in Fullerton; places where you do not have to hide or be ashamed of how God made you.
We want you to know that we are fully aware that getting up early on Sunday mornings for church is not always congruent with a college lifestyle. No worries. Sometimes it’s not congruent with a retired person’s lifestyle either. There are lots of ways to be a part of our church family, Sunday morning worship is only a tiny part of what we do together. You can go to our website www.fullertonfirstchristian.org to learn more.
We want you to know that we don’t expect or need anything from you. There are no strings attached. We just want to offer you grandmas to make food for you when you’re sick or lonely, aunts and uncles to offer you a place to stay over the holidays or summers, friends to help with your schoolwork or to help you blow off your schoolwork, and fellow travelers on this bumpy road of faith.
You are so loved. And nothing – no one – will keep us from telling you that, again and again and again. Because “neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).
Believe it. And stay fabulous!
