The men’s Cross Country showed great poise in winning their first-ever team win for the program at the Vanguard Invitational competition on Saturday, Sept. 8. The men were led by junior, Joe Tobin, who finished the race with a time of 26:50 among 49 runners.

“It was really humid, so that led to a little bit slower times than most of us would like,” said sophomore, Tabitha Abbey, “but [we] adapt.”

The women’s’ team held their own in placing two runners in the top fifteen while not having enough competitors to garner a team score.
